回首2022年，面对多重困难挑战，南通仍然交出了一份提振人心的答卷。更加“好通”的南通实现地区生产总值1.15万亿元，国家创新型城市排名跃居全国第23位，青年和人才友好型城市指数在长三角41个城市中排名稳居第7。连续两年入选科技部“魅力中国—外籍人才眼中最具吸引力的中国城市”候选城市。
回首2022年，国际优质创新资源持续涌入，南通科技开放合作的“朋友圈”不断扩容。全年新引进外国高端人才和专业人才435人，持有效工作证的在通外国专家达到1278人。5个国家外国专家项目获得立项支持，2个省外国专家工作室获得命名授牌，1名外国专家获省国际科学技术合作奖。
回首2022年，你们与南通心往一处想、劲往一处使，携手同行、团结奋进，在科学研究、技术创新、工程建设、人才培养和中外交流等领域贡献了智慧和才华，为南通建设“一枢纽五城市”付出了心血和汗水。我们深切感受到，你们虽然来自异国他乡，但在我们心目中你们不是外人，就是南通人。

Spring Festival Greetings to ForeignExperts inNantong

As the Spring Festival of the Chinese Lunar New year of Rabbitis coming, wehereby extend our sincere greetings and best wishes for the new year to all foreign experts and your families, who have made positive contributions to Nantong’s recommendation, development, and participation in international cooperation!
In 2022, in the face of multiple difficulties and challenges, Nantong still handed over an inspiring answer.The regional GDP of Nantong reached 1.15trillion yuan. Nantong has risen to 23rd in the ranking of The National Innovative City, and the youth - and talent-friendly city index ranks 7th among 41 cities in the Yangtze River Delta. Also, Nantong was shortlisted as a candidate city to be "charming China-the most attractive Chinese city in the eyes of foreign talents" of the Ministry of Science and Technology for two consecutive years.
In 2022, international high-quality innovation resources continued to pour in, and the "circle of friends" of science and technology opened up and cooperation in Nantong continued to expand. In the whole year, 435 foreign talents were introduced, and the number of foreign experts with valid work permit reached 1278. Five national foreign expert projects were supported, two provincial foreign expert studios were admitted, and one foreign expert won the provincial international science and technology cooperation award.
In 2022,you contributed wisdom and talent in the field of scientific research, technological innovation, engineering construction,talentstraining, international exchange, and the construction of "one hub and five cities"with Nantong. We deeply feel that although you are from foreign country, but in our mind you are not outsider.
At present, Nantong is in a critical period. Wesincerely hope that you will, as always, care about, support and participate in the development of Nantong and thecomprehensively promotion ofthe new practice of Chinese-style modernization in Nantong.
